Semi Wadcutter Bullet. This is an excellent Target load for the
recreational shooter. The flat nose of the bullet and the sharp edge
of the driving band tends to punch a clean hole in the
target making it easy to check your score without having to go down
range. The tapered edge of the round enables it to be loaded
into the cylinder using a speed loader. This ammunition is suitable
for use in both the .38 Special and the .357 Magnum revolvers. Like all of our quality reloaded ammunition, we recommend that you not use
this ammo in firearms manufactured by Rubbermaid, Tupperware, Glock or Mattel. The .38 Special, 158 Grain Semi Wadcutter ammunition uses an Magma hard cast bullet manufactured with new virgin casting alloy. The bullet is sized to .358 dia and lubricated with Magma Red Bullet Lubricant. Our bullet alloy is made to order using 92 percent lead, 4 percent tin and 4 percent antimony. This alloy combined with the excellent lubrication properties of Magma Bullet Lube creates an excellent bullet hard enough to prevent leading in most ammunition applications. Most target shooters prefer a lead cast bullet due to increased accuracy. The only drawback to cast lead bullets is increased smoke when shooting due to the burning of the bullet lubricant, however the increased accuracy of cast lead bullets usually outweighs the inconvenience of having to clean your pistol.
